The wide band DF 300-6000Mhz VHF UHF omni directional antenna operating from 300 MHz to 6 GHz, provides omnidirectional coverage across the VHF and UHF frequency ranges. Additionally, a separate yet fully integrated active monitoring antenna offers high-sensitivity omnidirectional coverage along the same axis astheVHF UHF antenna, without causing any interference to the DF array.

The omnidirectional broadband antenna are designed to measure the direction from which a received signal originates, enabling the determination of the transmission location through methods such as angle of arrival estimation. The full-size elements of these omni directional antennas optimized for each frequency band, ensure excellent sensitivity and directivity, resulting in bearing accuracy that is well under 1° for most of the frequency range, especially for strong signals.

Additionally, the dipole elements of theseHigh gain antennas provide good cross-polarization rejection and perform well for signals arriving from up to 15° above or below the horizon. Each channel antenna is tailored to maximize sensitivity and directivity within its specific frequency range, contributing to the overall high accuracy in bearing determination.
