DF Antenna Wide Band 300-6000Mhz VHF UHF 50 Ohm Omni Directional Finding Antenna
The ZD-DFA-3060-NF direction finding antenna covers a frequency range of 300 MHz to 6 GHz. A separate, but fully integrated active monitoring antenna gives high sensitivity omnidirectional coverage on the same axis as the (DF antenna), without interfering with the DF array.
The full-size elements on all bands give excellent DF sensitivity. Ultimate angular resolution for strong signals is well under 1° for most of the frequency range. Dipole elements provide good cross-polarisation rejection, and fair performance for signals arriving from up to 15° above or below the horison.
Each channel antenna is optimized for sensitivity and directivity in its particular frequency range, which results in excellent bearing accuracy.
(Direction finding antennas) are capable of measuring the direction from which a received signal was transmitted. This direction information can be utilized to determine the location of transmission (via angle of arrival estimation, for example).
